UN-Habitat 1st Assembly – Nairobi, Kenya

In May 2019 we contributed to the first UN-Habitat Assembly with a new pavillon made out of African Cedar. This gesture was made in order to lead discussions about the importance of using wood and renewable building materials in our future cities.

In May 2019 we contributed to the first UN-Habitat Assembly with a new pavillon made out of African Cedar. This gesture was made in order to lead discussions about the importance of using wood and renewable building materials in our future cities.

The discussion included the topics of reforestation and raising awareness around the importance and urgency to start replanting now !

Joint with the pavillon, we created an exhibition called “We need to grow our cities”. This exhibition explained how the circular system around wood (from replanting to building) align with all of the 17 goals of sustainable development (SDGs).
